Freaky Friday

This has been a really WEIRD week.  It started off WEIRD on Sunday and today is Friday and I don't see it finishing any diffierent.  I know God must have a sense of humor and sometimes He must just sit back and laugh at His children running around like ants to and fro trying to discern His will and do what is right in His sight, when all He asked of us originally was 10 simple things.  Then Jesus came and reduced it to 2 simple things.  Why is it so hard for us to figure out who we are and what we are suppose to do?  I guess you think I have some earth shattering, mind blowing answers.  Nah, not me.  I would never presume that I was qualified to take on such matters.  However... I will say this, since WEIRD seems to be the key word of the week, when  faced with Divine Detours (the title God gave me for the last Women's conference I led), whether you think what is happening to you is weird or just a little off the beaten path, open THE BOOK and bow THE KNEE.  This is the best answer I can give anyone and everyone when faced with the challanges of today.  And if we look at these matters as challanges, give God a chance, humble ourselves truely to His will, seek His face and listen for His voice, He WILL answer.  This much I have seen in my own life.  "Water from a rock" (metaphor) has come into our lives when we needed it most.  Unbelieveably.   LOL  Kathy in the Kitchen
