A good time was had by all!

What a weekend!  We left Saturday with our friends Harold and Teresa, who by the way are complete nuts (just my type) and headed to south Alabama (Andalusia).  One of our friends from high school, Gregory Cotter is now a pastor in Andalusia and he asked Mike to come down and preach for Homecoming Day at his church, Harmony Baptist Church.  Isn't that a great name for a church and a great concept?  Isn't that what all churches should have, HARMONY.  Again, that is a WHOLE other story in our life.  Anyway, the service Sunday was great!  The music was great.  They had a perspective music minister with them Sunday and he did a really good job.  I hope they call him.  Donna, my sister-in-law and BFF, has know him a long time and really thinks highly of him.  Mike preached a rip, snorter and then we had dinner on the grounds.  All in all it was a great day and a great trip.  And to top it off, it was my birthday.  So it was a really terrific birthday for me and we returned Sunday night saying goodbye to Harold and Teresa (I just love them) until next time and a good time was had by all.     Kathy in the Kitchen
